Professional factory for interior parts of Germany cars.
1. Product Design & R&D We perform reverse 3‑D scanning based on original OE parts. Our engineers optimize weak stress points to improve original‑part breaking issues. Confirm material specification of reinforced PC+ABS / ABS plastic. Complete DFM review for injection, painting and electroplating requirements, confirm tolerance and assembly structure.
2. Mold Development Design mold structure according to 3D drawing. Use high‑grade mold steel for CNC, EDM and mirror polishing. Complete multi‑round trial mold (T0‑T3). Modify mold repeatedly until samples meet assembly requirement, ensure tight tolerance for clips and mounting positions.
3. Injection Molding Raw material drying to eliminate moisture. Inject melted plastic under high pressure. Robot takes out finished blanks. Gate material trimming. First‑article inspection for shrinkage, short shot and flash. Mass production after parameter confirmation. Semi‑finished parts sorting.
4. Surface Painting (Optional) Parts degreasing & dust removal. Masking fixtures protect clip positions. Primer & top‑coat spraying with oven curing. Inspect for color difference, paint sagging and poor adhesion. This step will be skipped for electroplating version.
5. Electroplating Process (Chrome Version) Plastic electroplating for ABS substrate. Include etching, neutralization, chemical nickel, copper plating, nickel plating and chrome plating. Strict inspection for blistering, peeling, scratch and spot defect. Reject defective plating parts.
6. Assembly Workstation Assemble main handle body, return spring, rotating shaft and small accessory parts on assembly line. Test handle rebounding function repeatedly to ensure smooth movement without stuck.
7. Multi‑level QC Inspection ‑ Incoming inspection for injection blanks ‑ Appearance inspection for painting / electroplating surface ‑ 100% functional test for handle rebound & clip fitting ‑ Sampling dimension check ‑ Simulated fitting test with original car mounting base Remove cracked, scratch, paint‑loss and malfunction items.
8. Packing Each handle packed individually with bubble bag to avoid scratch. Small spare accessories included. Pack into inner box, then carton with buffer filler. Mark OE number and quantity on outer carton, prevent damage during long‑distance international shipping.
9. Shipment & Delivery Order checking for model, OE number and quantity. Generate shipping label and tracking number before hand over to forwarder.
Complete R&D Process
1. 3D Reverse Scanning
We adopt high-precision 3D laser scanning technology to fully collect the original product data. All contours, curved surfaces, mounting clips, hole positions and stress structural details are accurately restored 1:1. It effectively avoids manual measurement errors and provides accurate original factory data support for subsequent modeling and mold development.
2. 2D Engineering Drawing Design
Based on scanned 3D data, our engineers design standard 2D CAD drawings in strict accordance with auto parts industry tolerances. All core parameters including overall dimension, wall thickness, draft angle, assembly gap, clip specification and surface process requirements are clearly marked to standardize mold making, production and quality inspection standards.
3. 3D Modeling & Structural Optimization
We restore the original product structure through professional 3D modeling. Meanwhile, we optimize the inherent weaknesses of original factory parts, such as easy breaking, loose clips and poor rebound. DFM manufacturability evaluation is completed in advance to solve potential problems of injection molding, painting and electroplating, ensuring the product has excellent durability and mass production stability.
4. Mold Design & Manufacturing
According to product structural characteristics, we customize professional mold cavities, gating systems, cooling water channels, ejection and exhaust structures. Adopting high-quality mold steel and processed by CNC, EDM and high-precision mirror polishing, the molds ensure smooth product surface, no burrs or shrinkage, and meet high-standard painting and electroplating process requirements.
5. Initial Mold Trial and Testing
After mold completion, we conduct the first trial injection to produce prototype samples. Our R&D and QC team comprehensively inspect product dimension, radian, assembly tightness and surface quality. We record all defects such as deformation, flash and short shot, and form a detailed trial report for subsequent mold correction.
6. Precision Mold Modification & Iteration
Targeted optimization and modification are carried out according to trial mold problems. We adjust mold precision, cooling system, exhaust structure and assembly gaps through multiple iterations. Eliminate all assembly obstacles and molding defects to ensure the mold reaches stable and qualified mass production standards.
7. Comprehensive Performance Testing
All finished products undergo strict professional tests, including vehicle fitting test, thousands of times mechanical fatigue test, high and low temperature aging test, surface adhesion & corrosion resistance test, and dimensional tolerance sampling test. All products strictly comply with original factory standards to ensure stability, durability and perfect vehicle adaptability.
8. Solution Finalization & Mass Production Launch
After all test items fully meet the standards, we finally confirm and lock the product 3D scheme, mold parameters, production process specifications and quality inspection standards to complete the finalization of new product R&D. We synchronously output complete product drawings, process documents and quality inspection specifications, and officially launch formal mass production. Meanwhile, we support continuous technical iteration and long-term customized ODM upgrading services according to customer demands.
